Hydrolates
Hydrolates, also called aromatic or floral waters, are produced with the same process of extracting essential oils through steam distillation of medicinal plants. They contain a small amount of essential oil constituents and water -soluble active ingredients that give numerous properties and versatile use: as tonic for the face, for decongestant compresses, sprayed on the face after shaving, and on the body after depilation or prolonged exposure in the sun.
To better enjoy the properties of the phytocomplex of the plant, it is recommended to combine them with our oils. They do not contain preservatives, alcohol, dyes, or perfumes.
HELICHRYSUM LAVENDER AND MYRTLE HYDROLATE
This potent triad of hydrolates offers an array of beneficial properties. Helichrysum hydrolate, known for its soothing, refreshing, and healing qualities, acts as an effective skin regenerator. It stimulates circulation, reduces redness, and minimizes dark circles. Complementing the Helichrysum, the Lavender and Myrtle hydrolates perform a purifying and decongestant action.
Our hydrolates are derived from plants handpicked from the unspoiled terrain of Cala Sarraina. Immediately following the harvest, these plants undergo steam distillation, a process that ensures the preservation of their numerous properties while avoiding contamination. Due to the intense concentration of our hydrolates and their inherent antibacterial and antifungal properties, there’s no need for additional preservatives. Please note, it takes 7 kilograms of flowers to produce just 1 kilogram of our precious hydrolate.
Usage instructions:
As a Tonic: Apply pure hydrolate directly to the face using a cotton pad thoroughly soaked in the solution.
As a Moisturizer and Cleanser: Apply the hydrolate and emulsify with a few drops of our oil. For optimal results, we recommend daily usage, both morning and evening.
Store this product in a cool location, away from sources of light. For maximum freshness and efficacy, please use within 12 months of opening.
